On Stage 15 from Champagnole to the Plateau de Solaison (183.9 km), Tom Pidcock once again forced his way into the day's decisive breakaway, making it three consecutive stages spent racing aggressively at the front despite sitting inside the overall top ten.

The final result was not the one the team had hoped for after another huge collective effort on one of the hardest mountain stages of this Tour. But the message remains unmistakable.

Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team has not come to this Tour de France to defend positions. It has come to race.

Over the past three days, the team has repeatedly committed riders to the decisive moves, accepting the risk of emptying the tank in pursuit of opportunity rather than settling for conservative racing. That philosophy once again defined Sunday's stage before the race exploded on the final climbs to the Plateau de Solaison.

Pidcock, who spent another day fighting at the front before paying for those efforts on the final ascent, summed it up perfectly after crossing the finish line.

The British rider admitted the cost of such an aggressive approach on the final climb.

"The last five kilometres... I was just crawling to the top. I was completely empty."

Throughout the second week of the Tour, Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team has consistently animated the race: attacking from distance, committing multiple riders to breakaways and refusing to wait for opportunities to arrive.

As the race now heads into its final week following Monday's rest day, the ambition remains unchanged.
