Pinarello Q36.5 Signs Off Its Debut Tour De France With Another Attacking Display In Paris
Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team brought the curtain down on its first-ever Tour de France in the same way it had raced throughout the previous three weeks: aggressively, visibly and always on the front foot.
On a spectacular final stage around the streets of Paris and the iconic Montmartre circuit, Xabier Mikel Azparren launched an attack over the first ascent of Montmartre before British National Champion Fred Wright animated the race once again with a bold move on the final passage, ensuring the team remained among the protagonists until the very last kilometres of the 2026 Tour de France.
The attacking approach reflected the identity Pinarello Q36.5 has established throughout its Tour debut, consistently racing with intent and making its presence felt across every terrain, from high mountains to the streets of Paris. Tom Pidcock completed his first Tour de France with Pinarello Q36.5 by securing the 9th position in the GC, adding another milestone to the team's debut appearance at cycling's biggest race.
"I definitely enjoyed it. That was the main thing — to enjoy this race with this team. I struggled a lot, especially over the last few days, but we achieved a Top 10 overall. We came close to winning a couple of stages and it's nice to have raced like that. I'm already looking forward to coming back and seeing how much further we can improve."

"I thought, if you don't try, you never know. After yesterday, it felt really good to be back on the front of the Tour de France. My hand is really sore now, but adrenaline got me through. It's a special feeling to finish the Tour and I'm proud that we kept racing all the way to Paris."
