The team's objective was clear from the start: remain patient, use its numerical strength at the decisive moment and maximise the opportunities on the final climb. The riders executed the plan with commitment from first to last, demonstrating the depth and unity that continue to define the team's approach to racing.

Walter Calzoni led the team's charge with fourth place, followed by Marcel Camprubí in eighth, Mark Donovan in tenth and Eddie Dunbar in fourteenth, rewarding a performance built on teamwork rather than individual ambition.

"The plan was to race together, use our numbers at the right moment and make the most of our collective strength" said Sports Director Daniele Nieri. "The riders executed exactly what we had planned. Everyone committed fully to their role, with Eddie and Mark making a huge contribution for Walter on the final climb. That's exactly the mentality we want to see every time we race."

Calzoni was equally quick to recognise the work of his teammates.

"We stayed patient before the final climb and committed fully to our plan. Eddie and Mark did an incredible job, setting the pace almost all the way up the climb so I could focus on the finish. The legs felt good and, with several of us well placed, we're in a good position heading into tomorrow."

With four riders finishing among the first fourteen, Pinarello Q36.5 once again demonstrated that success is built collectively. Regardless of individual roles, every rider committed 100% to the team's objective, laying another solid foundation for the decisive stages of the race.
