Tom Pidcock Sets His 2026 Spring Road Programme
The Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team confirms the spring road programme of Tom Pidcock for the 2026 season, built around a clear performance vision and a progressive approach to the Spring Classics.
Pidcock will open his 2026 campaign in February with a focused early-season block designed to establish race sharpness and condition. His season debut is scheduled at the Vuelta Ciclista a la Región de Murcia on 13–14 February, followed by Clásica Jaén on 16 February and the Vuelta a Andalucía from 18–22 February. The opening month concludes with Omloop Het Nieuwsblad on 28 February, marking the first major one-day objective of the season.
March will see a transition toward longer and more selective races as part of the build toward peak spring form. Pidcock is set to line up at Strade Bianche on 7 March, before continuing with Milano–Torino on 18 March and Milano–Sanremo on 21 March. His preparation continues at the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya from 23–29 March, a key stage-race block ahead of April.
The final phase of the spring campaign will focus on the Ardennes Classics. Pidcock is scheduled to race De Brabantse Pijl on 17 April, followed by the Amstel Gold Race on 19 April and La Flèche Wallonne on 22 April. The spring programme will culminate at Liège–Bastogne–Liège on 26 April, which stands as the primary objective of the spring block.
"My schedule stays quite similar to previous years. But adding in some new races to keep things fresh. But also to give time to training blocks and periodisation to make sure I am ready for the races that matter most!"
Tom PidcockThe 2026 spring season reflects a deliberate and structured philosophy shared by both rider and team, prioritising progression, clarity, and peak performance over calendar volume.
