Emmanuel Houcou Finishes 2nd on Stage 4 of the Tour of Oman
Stage 4 of the Tour of Oman ended in a fast and intense sprint, where positioning was crucial in the final kilometres. The team stayed united throughout the stage, controlling the key moments and delivering a strong lead-out into the decisive finale.
Emmanuel Houcou powered to an excellent second place at the line, narrowly missing out on victory. A strong result that confirms his speed and his growing confidence in his first races with the team.
After the finish, Emmanuel shared:
"It was a much calmer day compared to yesterday. The team did an incredible job for me all day, keeping me well positioned and protected. In the final, Damien Howson did a huge turn, and Marcel Camprubi and David Gonzalez were super important in the last kilometre to keep me in the right place. Chris Harper really saved me when I dropped my chain with 2km to go, he brought me back and put me straight back into position. It was a real team effort. I waited for the right opening and launched my sprint. I came very close to the win, so I’m happy with second place. The legs are good, and I know I’m right there fighting for victory. I’m really looking forward to the next opportunities."
