ALL SET FOR LA DOYENNE: PINARELLO Q36.5 PRO CYCLING TEAM READY FOR LIÈGE–BASTOGNE–LIÈGE

At 259 kilometres, La Doyenne stands as the oldest and one of the most selective Monuments in professional cycling. First held in 1892, Liège–Bastogne–Liège has built its reputation on relentless elevation gain, decisive climbs and a profile that rewards riders capable of competing for general classification in stage races. Together with Il Lombardia at the end of the season, it represents the pinnacle of climbing Classics, though, as history often shows, surprises are always part of its DNA.

The Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team heads into Sunday’s race with a strong and experienced line-up, built to respond to every phase of what is traditionally an attritional and tactical contest.

Leading the team is Tom Pidcock, who returned to racing earlier this week at the Tour of the Alps, immediately making an impact with a stage victory. His progression through the week signals a strong return to form ahead of one of the most demanding races on the calendar.

Alongside him, Chris Harper arrives from the same race with solid condition, having secured seventh place overall and delivering consistent performances throughout the week.

"As a team, we had a nice Tour of the Alps. Obviously winning a stage with Tom after he’s coming back from his injury was very awesome. And I’m also happy with my performance personally after a long time of not racing after my crash in UAE Tour. All in all it was a good week for the team."

In the last training ahead of Liège–Bastogne–Liège, the focus within the group is clear:

"Just heading out for a pre-Liège spin with the guys. Looking forward to tomorrow. It’s going to be a big day on the bike. All the big guys in the world are here, it’s a big Classic, so really looking forward to it."

With depth, experience, and versatility across the roster, the team is well-positioned to navigate the complexities of the race, from early breakaways to the decisive moments on the Ardennes climbs.
