Italian Nicolo Parisini is ready for his fourth season with the team, and 2026 promises to be an exciting one as he targets the Belgian Classics and the Giro d’Italia later in the season.

From Varese to the Classics

Nicolo Parisini’s love for cycling started at a very young age. “I started when I was six years old with BMX, thanks to my dad,” he recalls. That early introduction set him on a path that would eventually lead to professional racing, blending passion, discipline, and a love for the open road.

During the season, Nicolo splits his time between San Marino, his home base, and Lavena Ponte Tresa in the Varese area, where his girlfriend lives. The terrain around Varese offers a mix of long and short climbs as well as flat stretches around the local lakes, providing an ideal environment to develop versatility and strength. Training conditions are typically dry, giving him the perfect setting to build endurance and refine his racing skills.

The part of the season that excites him most is the spring classics, particularly the Belgian races. “I would also like to do the Giro d’Italia,” he says, highlighting both his ambitions in one-day races and grand tours. His goals for the year are clear: to secure victories and earn a spot in the Giro, continuing to build his experience at the highest level.

Among his earliest and most memorable cycling moments is watching the 2008 World Championships in Varese. “I was in the corner where Alessandro Ballan launched his attack,” Nicolo remembers, a moment that inspired him to chase his own dreams in the sport.
