Swiss puncher Fabio Christen returns for his fourth season with team and looks to build on his success from the 2025 season which saw him secure his first Pro Tour wins.
Swiss precision
Fabio Christen’s passion for cycling started close to home, literally. Growing up just 500 meters from the GP Gippingen pro race, he was inspired by the world of professional cycling from an early age. Cycling runs in the family: both of his parents were riders, and his grandfather even rode the Tour de France. After a childhood playing football, Fabio picked up his first bike at 11 or 12 and immediately fell in love with riding.
During the season, Fabio calls Weiningen home, a small town near Frauenfeld, where he lives with his younger brother. The surrounding terrain is ideal: short, punchy hills perfect for training, with longer climbsnearby to build endurance. Winter brings cold and fog, while summer offers warm, sunny days, perfect conditions to prepare for the racing season.
Fabio is especially drawn to the spring classics, with Flanders holding a special place in his heart. As a Swiss rider, he also looks forward to competing at the Tour de Suisse. His goals for the season are ambitious: to win as many races as possible and achieve his first WorldTour victory.
One of his favorite cycling memories is winning his first professional race in Murcia last year, a milestone that reinforced his love for the sport and his determination to reach the next level.
