Wright and Camprubí crowned National Champions as Pinarello Q36.5 shines across Europe!

It was a memorable weekend for Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team, with Fred Wright and Marcel Camprubí claiming two prestigious National Road Race titles in world cycling, while teammates added a series of strong performances across Europe in both the road race and time trial championships.

Racing in two nations with some of the richest traditions in the sport, Wright delivered a trademark aggressive ride before outsprinting his breakaway companions to become British National Road Champion for the second time in his career.

"It was a typical National Championships. I attacked from the start, and it was full gas racing until a select group formed... I played my cards well in the end. It's such a special thing. I plan to take these stripes to the next big races."

In Spain, Marcel Camprubí delivered another landmark moment for the team, securing a stunning victory in the Spanish National Road Race Championship , the first professional win of his career. The triumph earns him the honour of wearing the national champion’s jersey throughout the coming season.

Speaking after the finish, Camprubí described it as “the biggest moment of my career,” underlining the significance of claiming one of cycling’s most prestigious national titles.

The team's success extended well beyond these two victories.

In Belgium, Quinten Hermans narrowly missed the podium with an impressive 4th place in the elite road race, while Aimé De Gendt secured 7th in the individual time trial.

The Netherlands saw Sjoerd Bax step onto the podium with an excellent 3rd place in the elite time trial.

In Poland, Kamil Małecki finished 5th in the individual time trial.

On home roads in Switzerland, Fabio Christen produced a strong ride to finish 5th in the elite road race.

Spain also delivered further standout performances for the team. Xabier Azparren claimed silverin the individual time trial before adding 10th place in the road race, while David de la Cruzfinished 4th in the Spanish time trial.

With two national jerseys secured and a series of top-ten performances across multiple countries, the National Championships weekend once again demonstrated the depth, versatility and competitiveness of the Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team ahead of the biggest races of the summer.
