Ronde van Vlaanderen: Pinarello Q36.5 ready to go all-in on the cobbles

A race that defines riders and shapes seasons. In Belgium, it is more than sport, it is identity, tradition and raw passion lining every cobbled sector and every climb. Worldwide, it stands as one of the most anticipated and respected races on the calendar.

From Antwerp to Oudenaarde, the race builds tension for more than 100 kilometres before the real fight begins. Then it’s relentless: narrow roads, positioning battles and the iconic hellingen of the Flemish Muur—Koppenberg, Taaienberg, Kruisberg and above all the decisive sequence of Oude Kwaremont and Paterberg, tackled deep into the finale where the race explodes for good.

The final hour with the Kwaremont–Paterberg combination, repeated in the closing phase, is where legs, timing and instinct decide the outcome, before the fast run-in to Oudenaarde.

Conditions will be fast but never easy. Temperatures around 14–15°C, dry roads likely and a light wind shaping the race, classic Flanders weather, where positioning and timing become even more critical.

Tomorrow, Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team takes on De Ronde with a clear mindset: race hard, race smart, race without limits.

Fred Wright, Aimé De Gendt, Frederik Frison, Brent Van Moer, Emils Liepins, Nickolas Zukowsky and Kamil Małecki line up with the engine, grit and race intelligence required for the Flemish terrain. This is a group built for chaos, for positioning fights, for decisive moves, for the moments where races are won or lost in seconds.

We know exactly where we stand. The plan is simple: stay present, anticipate the race and commit when it matters. The cobbles don’t wait and neither will we. Every sector is a selection, every climb a test, every hesitation an opening.

This is not a race you control. It’s a race you survive, and then attack.

From the first accelerations to the final decisive moves, we will be there to animate the race, to take responsibility, and to exploit every opportunity the road offers.
