Moschetti and Pinarello Q36.5 Ready for AlUla Tour
The AlUla Tour marks not only the opening chapter of the season for the Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team, but also a historic moment for the project: the first race for the team on their new Pinarello Dogma F and the new Q36.5 Dottore Pro Race Suits, and the official debut of the team’s new livery.
A new era begins on Saudi roads, combining performance, innovation, and a renewed visual identity. For Matteo Moschetti, AlUla is also a race that carries particular personal significance. Twelve months ago, AlUla represented a defining moment in Moschetti’s career. After a long and complex recovery, it was the race where he truly found his way back into competition, physically, mentally, and technically.
"Last year, AlUla was a key moment for me. I was coming back to racing after a long break, with many unknowns. Getting back into sprinting, reading the finales and feeling confident again in the bunch was all part of the process."
Matteo MoschettiThat process quickly translated into performance. Consistent sprint results throughout the week confirmed Moschetti’s condition, while the team delivered a controlled and precise race execution. On the final stage, Moschetti converted opportunity into victory, sealing a week that underlined both individual progress and collective strength.
"That win meant more than just the result. It confirmed that the work we had done was right. Personally, it was very important, and for the team it was the perfect way to close an extremely positive week. Repeating what we achieved last year won’t be easy. But every season is a new challenge. The objective is to find the right feeling in the finales, be competitive, and try to win. That’s why we train."
Matteo MoschettiAs the team lines up again in Saudi Arabia, the perspective has shifted. The memories remain, but the focus is firmly on the present and on performance.
Preparation has once again been approached with precision. The build-up to AlUla followed a structured and targeted protocol, tailored to the specific demands of the race, including climate adaptation and sprint execution.
"We followed a similar approach to last season because it proved effective. The training has been very specific, especially considering the heat and the type of racing we expect here."
