Brilliant Team Consistency: Two Riders in Top-20 at Ronde van Vlaanderen

At the Ronde van Vlaanderen, one of the most demanding and prestigious Monuments on the calendar, the Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team delivered a cohesive and determined performance under characteristically Belgian conditions, wind, intermittent rain, and even late sunshine shaping a truly selective race.

On a day where positioning, endurance and tactical precision proved decisive, the team secured a double top-20 finish, with Aimé De Gendt crossing the line in 12th place and Brent Van Moer finishing 19th.

A defining element of the race was the outstanding ride of Frederik Frison, who spent nearly 200 km in the breakaway alongside eleven riders. His presence at the front allowed the team to execute its initial strategy, maintaining visibility and control through the early phases of the race.

Behind him, the strength of the collective was evident throughout the day. Every rider played a role in positioning the leaders ahead of the decisive sectors, guiding them through the cobbles, climbs, and crosswinds that define the Ronde.

Rider Reactions with Aimé de Gendt 12th and Brent Van Moer 19th:

"It was a really hard day. It’s a pity we missed the split on the Molenberg, we were just a bit too far at that moment. After that, we focused on saving what was possible. Of course, missing the top 10 is disappointing, but finishing 12th in a race like this is still a solid result. The conditions, with wind, rain and everything, made it a real Flemish classic. We showed we were good, even if not quite in the mix for the top positions today."

"I think we rode a very good race as a team. The first goal was to have someone in the early breakaway and with Frison we did that perfectly. From there, the focus was on positioning for the key moments. We maybe missed a bit on the Molenberg, but both Aimé and I kept fighting all the way. It was a really tough race, with groups coming back and the pace always high. In the end, a double top 20 in a Monument like this is not a bad result and shows the strength of the team effort!"

In a race that once again confirmed its reputation as one of cycling’s toughest challenges, Pinarello Q36.5 combined aggressive racing from the start with a united team effort, delivering two riders in the top 20 and reinforcing the consistency of its collective performance.
